Australian Computer Society Chief Executive Chris Vein says Australia will need a “diverse set” of “technology talent” to be able to undertake the AUKUS program going into the future.
“We are wholly unprepared for that diversity and that tech talent right now, so we have some work to do there,” Mr Vein told Sky News Australia.
Mr Vein said Australia will need a “national strategy” to identify the right people with the right skills to meet the “needs” of AUKUS.
